The race may stop the nation, but this is where the celebration starts.
Melbourne Cup returns to Ambrym Estate in 2026 for a day of racing, fashion, exceptional food and celebration, set against the sweeping hinterland and coastal views of the Estate.
Arrive from 11am for an hour of complimentary champagne, beer and canapés, before taking your seat from midday for a sit-down lunch presented by Vue Yeppoon. With the race live on the big screens, the afternoon unfolds with music, entertainment, trivia, prizes and of course, Best Dressed.
Beyond the table, the celebration spills out across the lawns under umbrellas, relaxed lounge settings and open-air bars to ensure champagne is always in hand.
A few special details and surprises are being kept under wraps, with more of this year’s Soirée to be revealed as Cup Day approaches.
